CNN Money article "Best Jobs in America" reported Biomedical Engineer as the number one job.
Penn State Board of Trustees unanimously voted to change the department name to Department of Biomedical Engineering for the undergraduate program.
The Department of Biomedical Engineering now has a special Bioengineering Group on LinkedIn™. This group is designed to foster relationships between graduate students, undergraduate students, faculty, and alumni. You can Join the LinkedIn™ Bioengineering Group.
Biomedical engineering will be hosting the first Alumni Reunion July 12, 2015. This was previously announced for 2014, but was moved to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the first graduating undergraduate class. Visit the 2015 Bioengineering Alumni Reunion website for additional details on this upcoming event. This overlaps with Arts Fest Weekend in State College. There will be plenty of activities and events for all.

2015 Bioengineering Alumni Reunion

The Penn State Department of Biomedical Engineering and IGDP in Bioengineering will be holding the first alumni reunion July 12, 2015. Come join us for fun activities at Stone Valley Recreation Area. This is also Arts Fest weekend, so take time to enjoy all the activities and crafts. Revisit Biomedical Engineering at Penn State, see the local sites, and reminisce with old friends.
