Merck Virtual Information Session

Learn about Merck's Manufacturing Leadership Development Program (MLDP), a three-year rotational program designed to provide real-world experience in manufacturing and supplying Merck's products. BME, CHE, IE, and ME majors welcome (undergraduate).

MLDP participants will have three one-year rotations across Merck's manufacturing division. Each rotation will include learning and development plans designed to fortify professional and leadership skills. Participants will receive coaching from senior leaders, exposure to real real-life manufacturing and business challenges, and training from industry leading scientists and engineers.

The program is designed to enhance a wide variety of competencies including, but not limited to:

  • Business outcomes across the end-to-end supply chain
  • Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement/problem solving
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Managing and optimizing internal and external partnerships
  • Quality/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
  • Written and oral communication skills
